Sushi & omakase · Daniel Street, Milford

Fish, rice, and a short walk to the counter.

A small neighborhood sushi bar in downtown Milford. We buy what's good that day, form each piece to order, and keep eight seats at the counter for omakase.

Our story

One counter, one chef, whatever's good that morning

Ito is small on purpose. Chef Ito works the counter every night, breaking down fish by hand and forming each piece as it's ordered — no line, no shortcuts. The menu shifts with what the day's delivery brings.

Sit at a table for the full à la carte list, or take one of the eight counter seats and let the chef feed you, course by course.

Omakase

Eight seats. Chef's choice.

Around a dozen courses, built one piece at a time from the best of the day's fish and set in front of you as it's ready. Tell us about allergies when you book; the rest is up to the chef.

The room

Small, warm, and quiet enough to talk

A hinoki counter, a handful of tables, and soft light. It's the kind of room where a two-top and a first date and a pair of regulars all feel right. Walk-ins welcome at tables when there's space; the counter is by reservation.

A short, careful list

We keep the sake list small and pour it well — a few bottles by the glass, a few worth the whole flask. Cold beer and a couple of pours of wine, too.
