Coal-fired. Charred. Ours since 1954.
Thin, blistered, a little burnt on the edges — the way apizza's supposed to be. Same coal oven, same family, three generations later.

It's "ah-BEETS," and it's not like other pizza. Thin, oblong, charred in a 700° coal oven, and cut however it lands.
We don't do a dozen sizes or a hundred toppings. We do apizza right: a crisp, chewy, spotted crust, crushed tomato, and just enough cheese. Order it "well done" if you like it extra charred — most regulars do.
And yes — the white clam pie is the one everyone drives in for.

Two sizes, that's it
Small (feeds 1–2) and large (feeds 2–3). No personal pan, no party size on the menu — call us for catering.
- 2
Coal, not gas or wood
A coal-fired brick oven runs hot and uneven — that's where the char and the crackle come from.
- 3
"Plain" has cheese as a topping
Old New Haven habit: a "tomato pie" (plain) is sauce and grated pecorino. Add mozzarella if you want it.

Pickup & dine-in
We're a takeout-and-tables shop. No app, no delivery fleet — call ahead or order pickup online.
Make it exactly how you take it.
Pick a size, how you want it baked, and your toppings. Want it half-and-half? Set any topping to the left or right side.
