A freezer, a beach, and too many ideas.
We started churning in a garage two streets from Silver Sands in 2009 — one machine, a chalkboard, and a stubborn idea that a scoop shop should make its own. We still do: local dairy, real fruit, small batches, sold out when it's sold out.
Fifteen years later there's a real window and a line down the block on July nights. The garage machine still runs the beach-plum sorbet.
