We worship here, and we serve here — on the same corner, all week.
Maple Street Church has stood at Maple & Fourth since 1924. On Sundays we gather to worship. The rest of the week, our doors stay open for the neighborhood: a pantry, a hot meal, recovery meetings, and neighbors looking out for each other.

First, a church.
We're not a charity that happens to hold services. We're a congregation — about 180 people — who gather every Sunday to pray, sing the old hymns and a few new ones, hear the Scriptures, and share the Lord's Supper. Everything else grows out of that.
And a good neighbor.
Because we believe worship sends us out, the building rarely sits empty. Feeding people, walking with folks in recovery, tutoring kids, checking on seniors — it's not a program department. It's just what this church does on this block.
One corner, a whole week of life.

Come as our guest.
One service, 10:00 am, about an hour. A blend of traditional hymns and simpler songs, prayers, Scripture, a down-to-earth sermon, and Communion on the first Sunday of the month. You won't be singled out or asked to give.

Food pantry
Groceries for anyone in the Fourth Ward. Come to the pantry door on Maple St. Bring a bag if you can; we have some if you can't.
Community meal
A free hot dinner in the fellowship hall. Everyone eats together — neighbors, volunteers, and folks from church, all at the same tables.
Practical assistance
Help navigating rent, utilities, and benefits, plus referrals to trusted local partners. We can't fix everything, but we'll sit with you and help you find the next step.

Programs, hours, and eligibility are demonstration content. A real church would confirm current details and partner referrals.
The block runs on neighbors showing up.
Most of what happens here is powered by volunteers with an hour or two to give. There's a spot for you.
