Late Summer · breakfast & lunch

A serious restaurant that happens to open in the daytime.

Soft eggs, vegetables at their peak, grains, smoked fish, and coffee worth the trip — cooked with the same care you'd expect at dinner, served while the light is good.

01 — the idea

We cook breakfast and lunch the way most places only cook dinner — seasonally, from scratch, and on purpose.

No all-day brunch clichés, no bottomless anything. Just a short menu that changes with what's good, a proper coffee program, and a dining room that's calm enough to actually talk in. Come for eggs and stay for lunch, or the other way around.

Morning

Breakfast, 8–11

Soft eggs, seasonal toast, grains, pastry, and the best coffee we can make.

Midday

Lunch, 11–3

Vegetables, smoked fish, a roast chicken, a glass of something low-ABV.

The day's ingredients.

The menu starts with what came in this morning. Pick something that's good right now and see how we're using it — the prep, the dish, when to order it, and what to drink alongside.

Book the daytime.

We're small and reservation-led — book the dining room through our partner, especially on weekends. A handful of counter seats are kept for walk-ins each day if you'd rather sit at the pass with a coffee.

Booking opens our reservation partner (Tock / Resy-style) in a new tab.

Walk-ins: counter seats are first-come from open. Weekdays are the quiet, easy time to come.

Private tables & producer breakfasts

Larger tables, buyouts, and our seasonal producer breakfasts — tell us what you have in mind.

We reply within two business days.

The kitchen

Cooking for the light.

Meridian runs on a simple idea: the daytime deserves real cooking. We bake our own bread and pastry, cure and smoke our own fish, and write the menu each morning around what the farms and the coast sent over.

The room is quiet and full of daylight, the coffee's serious, and the pace is yours — a fast counter breakfast or a long, slow lunch. Both are the point.
